[0:00] so do you like theology no one anybody like theology yes good I like their system when I was younger a youth pastor and even when I was first years as a senior pastor I really didn't care about theology when I went to seminary I wanted to learn Greek and Hebrew that was my only goal I wanted to be able to read it and understand it and study it and get it for myself and not just have to lean on Chuck's window right I wanted to be able to see it for myself I wanted to be able to discover it for myself I wanted to have the confidence to know this is what the word says and we know what so I did not have I did not see how theology mattered [1:01] I saw theology as kind of this dry thing this dividing of camps there's these guys and these guys and we believe this and we believe that and so in the beginning I didn't see the relevance I was quite naive but I had been influenced in a negative way so my desire was simply to teach the Bible I just wanted to give me a text let's walk through it let's teach the text we learn the Bible that's all that matters and for a long time that's true but I found that the more I studied the Bible I saw that oh there's other texts that talk about the same subject maybe that would be helpful in understanding what it says over here and I found that one of the most important principles for understanding Scripture is let Scripture interpret Scripture instead of me coming in and saying oh I think it means this well when John over here says it means that I'm not going to argue with John so I began to see that there was a bigger picture that there were patterns ideas that connected to each other [2:09] I think Jesus challenged the disciples we saw that in Mark early that he challenged them remember saying to them do you not yet understand remember he fed the 5,000 he fed the 4,000 he mentioned something about leaven and remember they started arguing about did we bring bread did we bring bread and Jesus said you knuckleheads it's a loose translation of the Greek that I studied it's a technical Greek word knucklehead no he said do you not yet get it are you not yet thinking when I fed the 5,000 how many loaves were left over they go oh look 12 they were good at math when I fed the 4,000 how many were left over so get it get what you get it yet no have you put things together yet are you thinking about how that relates to that and how this relates to this and what difference it makes in your life now no can you just tell us no [3:21] I'm a teacher that doesn't get any answers I raise questions I want you to think I want you to think I want you to discover I want you to learn that's theology thinking through connecting thoughts taking a subject and saying what does it say about this how does it over here relate to that what does Isaiah help me understand about that that's theology it's thinking through when I began to do that early in my past year I began to understand there was a reason why I though I was not a theologian was not comfortable with the church growth techniques in my day it was the rage it was what everybody did if you wanted to grow a big church you go to church growth seminars in fact my seminary in the last year I was there became a big giant church growth seminar and I was offended all the men committed to scripture left and went to well they were stolen by John MacArthur let's just be honest teasing they all went to MacArthur seminary why? [4:33] because he wanted to keep teaching the bible my seminary didn't want to do that anymore they didn't say that out loud and their motivations were genuinely good they wanted to grow churches so I was uncomfortable with that in those early days I was uncomfortable because I knew they were wrong but I didn't know why and then I discovered in the scriptures there is a theology of preaching you know that? [5:04] you know the bible has a lot to say about preaching I didn't know that until I started studying and then I started to see that's God's primary method and yet it's out of vogue today we shouldn't do that anymore well okay today says we shouldn't do that anymore God says you always do it so I got a choice what am I going to do? [5:30] well you want to grow a big church or you want to do what God says does it have to be that choice? can it be both? well that's up to the Lord not up to you see just because things work and I was in youth ministry that's what we did and we did it and it was fun it was great we had big groups we had big results and all that was great I know how to do all that stuff when I began to study the scripture and say well you know what method does matter method matters see most Christians today think well the message matters we don't want to compromise the message as long as we have the message we can do whatever we want to get the people in the door well yeah you can but you're hurting your message and you got to keep doing those things keep them coming anyway I began to discover that scripture spoke to those things so there's lots of theology so theology itself means theos means God and oji theology means study so study of God study loji of theos with me so study of God study of Christ [6:53] Christology study of Christ study of the Holy Spirit anybody know that one? a little tough not as easy it's not spiritology so sorry holyology that's a good guess that's just as good pneumatology okay I never would have guessed that in a million years the guys know pneumatic pneumatic wind, air pneuma Greek word for spirit wind pneumatology church ecclesiology theology of church theology of worship man when I saw that there was a difference about how you should worship it transformed me I remember coming to recognize as a pastor I'm responsible for worship that's part of what I pastor it's part of what I teach man when I was in youth group you know we had a deep theology of worship youth group it was fast songs first fast rowdy fun and then toward when you get to the speaker then you gotta slow it down you know more serious so just set the mood that's all it was just set the mood it was fun not a very deep theology the bible has a lot there's a whole book on worship which I don't know if many in worship that have studied that but how do we there's a difference so we're not going to talk about that today [8:24] I'm just saying theology is important it does matter and theology is not something I already have and I read into the bible that's how some people use it and that's wrong theology is what we draw out of the world what I learned from this text and this text and I put them together and I start okay okay I begin to see those things it connects dots for us it deepens our understanding it's not the end all but it helps us grasp the reasons why God's truth is so relevant it helps us see the big picture so here in Mark 14 Jesus says these crucial words these words that have lasted all these times that are so central and so important this is my body this is my blood he makes a simple statement and yet as we study the rest of the scriptures we see that how the disciples and apostles interpreted that becomes broader and broader and deeper deeper and life changing that's what I want to do today we're going to do a little theology we're going to try to connect some dots not to kind of you know get all your square pegs in the right [9:51] I messed that one up but I'm hoping it will deepen your love for Jesus that it will give you a richer picture that instead of black and white it gets more color and that's what I think this does so last time we looked at verses 22 to 24 we talked about those words this is my body this is my blood what was the significance of that and remember Jesus is doing it during the Passover meal so they're talking about bread the unleavened bread already they're talking about the significance of that related to Israel and they're talking about the cup of the wine which reminds them of the blood of the lamb that was poured out and put over the doorpost right so the angel of death would pass over and they would be protected so they're literally saved by the blood of the lamb so that's the context and now Jesus is changing it now he's saying that bread which was of hardship back in the wilderness now is this is my body and then the cup is no longer about that lamb that animal lamb but about he being the lamb his blood being poured out he's talking about his death but he doesn't tell us a lot here he just simply says this is my body this is my blood which is being poured out and it has something to do with the covenant so what does all that mean and so we use scripture to understand that we saw last time that we do communion [11:35] Paul tells us that we do it regularly that Jesus did this for us to keep doing and remember and so it has a past present and a future aspect in the past sense it awakens our love for Christ as we remember and look back on what he's done it has a present significance where we are abiding by faith in his death because he tells us to take and to eat and to drink so every month we do that we take and we eat and we drink we are physically participating and so by that we are we are feeding on him we are ingesting we are participating we are by faith abiding with the symbol and then there's a future aspect Paul says that we keep doing this until he comes we keep doing this until he comes and so we're anticipating the future when he comes back when this is not all that it matters this is not all there is but there is a day he comes back and restores all faith so I want to dig a little deeper today so what's the significance we looked at of body and blood [12:52] I want to ask the question today what's the need why did Jesus need to die why did he need to give his body why did he need to shed his blood what did his death accomplish was his death simply a symbol for us or show us that he's a person that gives his life away he's a sacrifice he's just a good example is that what it means as we study scripture we say no it's much much more than that certainly we are to lay down our lives like he did and love others yet but his was much more than that his death was absolutely unique so if you ask the average Christian probably what did his death do for you I think the average Christian would say well his death forgives my sin and they'd be right that's the exact first line of the gospel forgives my sin that's meaningful that's significant but do you know that the death of Christ accomplished a whole lot more than that's not all it did there are so many other results and benefits in effect so here we go with the theology of the cross we're going to trace these two words blood and body and see how the apostles and how the writers interpret this language let scripture interpret scripture so when we do communion we proclaim [14:28] Christ's death communion declares what he accomplished he accomplished four life changing results four life changing results and each of these have a different aspect they all intermingle but they each have a different aspect and each of them has a nice big fancy bible word so first it accomplishes redemption secondly it accomplishes justification reconciliation heard that word right don't know what it means but you've heard it it accomplishes reconciliation and it accomplishes sanctification it's all nice bible words right what do they mean they mean a lot so redemption refers to a supernatural effect justification refers to a legal effect reconciliation refers to a relational effect and sanctification relates to a moral effect so it affects us in four different ways so see we're deep just kind of broadening the picture just getting a little bit deeper all of it means yes it saves us they're all words that relate to our salvation all relate to our forgiveness our clasin but from different perspectives so let's walk through these and we're going to go fairly quick unless we don't but I think we will [16:00] I intend that I intend that okay I'm not in ultimate control which is good and bad okay so first the first result is a supernatural result and what Christ's death first accomplishes for us is redemption the believer is redeemed by which I mean redeemed means the believer is liberated from sins bondage and has been generated a freedom of the will redemption means liberated from sins bonds and generated a freedom of the will and I say this is supernatural because this is where we are radically changed we are changed it's not an idea that's new it's not just I'm okay I'm going to go walk this way it's not a lifestyle change it is a radical transformation you were an old now you're new you have been changed from the inside okay so you're liberated from sins bonds and then you're given now a freer will you had a free will before but it was limited now you have a total free will to choose not to sin so what's the issue each one of these I kind of break into what's the issue what's the impact so the issue why do we need redemption well the issue is that apart from Christ before we knew Jesus before we believed when I'm just a just a regular person who doesn't know anything [17:44] I'm enslaved to my natural desires I do what comes naturally I have a free will in that I freely choose whatever is natural to me but I'm limited to the natural realm because that's all I am I'm a natural person I'm human I have a human nature and I'm bound to that I cannot go beyond that I cannot do supernatural things I can do natural things because that's my nature the scripture tells us all sin fall short excuse me fall short sin simply means to fall short to miss the mark I'm going to drink some water here getting too excited sorry preach preach please Jesus said that everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin you know he said that and anyone who practices in other words that's everybody we all fall short we all miss the mark we all sin [18:54] Jesus said that means you're a slave of sin you're a slave because you can't stop that you can correct some things you can manage it but you can't stop and that's when he said if you abide in my words my words abide in you you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free and his listener said free we've never been a slave to anything and Jesus said everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin so yeah you are slaves so we're enslaved we're bound the impact so what's the impact of Jesus' death is death redeems us this is a miracle it liberates us it changes us it separates us delivers us from bondage to sin to always missing the mark always falling short and we're set free by the paying of a ransom see redemption means a payment a price is paid so we still use redemption today we still use that word you go to the store and you redeem a coupon it's buying something or now you get rewards right so you redeem your rewards you're buying it you just have a ticket to buy it with or whatever you have credit so we redeem so we pay so there's a payment and the marvel of this is that by paying the debt we owe and bearing the penalty that we deserve [20:33] Jesus breaks the tyranny of sin for us remember Ephesians 2 talks about who we were before Christ you were dead you were dead in sin you were enslaved you were following the world you're just doing what people of the world do it's natural but the bad news is that it's an enslavement but you don't know it then but you're enslaved you're trapped you're stuck Jesus' cross death breaks the tyranny for those who come to believe Jesus' death sets us free from sin transforms our heart and our will listen to how Paul describes it in Romans 6 17 he says thanks be to God that though and he's writing to believers thanks be to God that though you were once slaves of sin see once slaves of sin you have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed and having been watch this set free from sin have become now slaves of righteousness see there's a supernatural transformation you are delivered out of the kingdom of darkness where you are under a tyrant who wants to destroy your life he deceives you you don't know that you think you're making all your own choices but you're making your choices that lead to what death and discouragement and downfall and what we ruin our lives in all kinds of ways and so when God grabs a hold of us he takes us out and delivers us and rescues us from that kingdom of darkness and puts us into the kingdom of his son and he's a master too but he's not tired he's in charge but he's also a chef [22:35] I'll follow that one yeah you know all this we get to know Jesus we're like yeah give me one good go ahead I'll hear it from you I don't want to hear it from him but I'll hear it from you so what is the payment it's life for life it's the shedding of blood that forgives sin Ephesians 1 7 says in him Jesus we have redemption through his blood there's that word his blood brings redemption the forgiveness of our trespasses the forgiveness of our debt according to the riches of his grace so the first result of Christ's death is redemption liberating us from the bondage of sin and giving us a free will a freer will shall we say a freer will because now I can actually choose not to sin I actually have that choice say well wait a minute unbelievers can do better they can choose not to sin yeah they can modify their behavior yes but they can't truly think of it in terms of choosing not to sin against God and choosing to follow [23:53] God it's not even in their book so second that's a supernatural result the next one is a legal result this is interesting when I came to understand this one it was like wow only God could think of this because it resolves a fundamental tension in who God is this legal result is called justification which means for the believer God's wrath is removed from us and his law and his justice are satisfied this is legal terminology you're declared innocent you're declared not guilty this is this is something that is done in God's law court it's not something that you will feel how many of you feel not guilty right like no [24:54] I still sin yeah so I don't feel justification justification is something that happens in a legal sense not in me it's something God has declared because Christ has accomplished it's not something I believe it's something I believe I trust it becomes my armor right my shield of faith when the weapon when the whistles whistles what are they missiles Satan's whistling at you yeah try again no missiles sorry claiming missiles what's going to stop that when he says you're not righteous you're you're give Jesus I just got these that's why I had to give new ones because I busted the old anyway something about falling down I don't know take it around sorry where was [25:58] I you're sore you're shield thank you thank you thank you missiles so the missiles right so he's saying you're not worthy we hear that right you're still a sinner in fact I think you're worse now that you're a Christian and we think that because we know more we know sin we're a lot more aware of sin right so we think we're worse because we see more of it but see that's our shield of faith we say like Luther said to the devil yeah I know I'm not worthy I know I'm not righteous but Jesus made me right and that's why I stand behind that shield that's what protects man believe that because it's what he says can we reverse the tape on that that was weird thank you for gracious so what's the issue about this aspect the issue is that [27:02] God has created all of us not just believers every person God has created every person he made us he gave us life therefore we belong to him every person in this world belongs to him he is their creation he is their maker and we owe him everything and according to Paul in Romans 1 every person knows that even if they say they're agnostic or they say they're an atheist deep down they know Paul says what they do with it is they suppress it and then they twist it we all do we can't live in Colorado and say there's no God you can't look at those mountains you can't look at the streams we see you can't look at the beauty of the colors that change you can't look at the stars in the sky and say oh that just happened you can't it's irrational it takes a whole lot of faith to be an atheist [28:06] I don't because you're going against the evidence anyway we're preaching the choir so that's what we do we know that but we suppress the truth we disregard it we twist it to think our life is really our own I'm the master of my faith and so what we really become are rebels and we argue I guess the wages of sin is death what we really deserve is death because we have rebelled against our creator every person knows that I believe that because Paul says it in Romans 1 I believe it so what's the impact of his death was death justifies us it justifies the rebel it declares the rebel not guilty even when he's guilty declares him not guilty it satisfies [29:11] God's legal demand God has said thou shalt thou shalt thou shalt thou shalt thou shalt right and what did we do well some little bit no I didn't do that one thou shalt not covet oh that's easy no it's not even our best guys David wrote just about every one in one not one night but one episode that's one of our best guys that was someone with a heart after God that was someone who loved God deep was used by God's might and that's why I think that's why the Bible rings so true it shows all the dark sides of our heroes reality so the impact is [30:12] God justified it's what Luther called the great exchange right so he bears our sins we give to him or he takes from us because we're dead and we don't care he takes our sins upon him pays for them but that's not it then he gives us what his righteousness his life but his righteousness see he died after he had shown perfect he had been tempted in every way scripture says yet without sin and that's also why he's such a good shepherd because he gets how hard it is he gets it you know that's the first time God experientially understood that God knew that was hard for us but it's never hard for God he's not tempted so until [31:14] Jesus took on flesh and had all the limitations that we had God starts to understand experience says Jesus learn obedience so this is a legal issue Jesus fulfills God's justice and for our punishment to make us not guilty and again I said this is something we don't feel this is something that's just done and declared so understand here's the tension who is God God is holy righteous just! [32:32] us or God to be truly holy and just he must deal with sin and rebellion he must but he's also forgiving so how's he gonna do this how's he gonna save these undeserving rebels and still be just and not great on a curb he doesn't grave on a curb can't be holy and grave on a curb great on a curb now I may take that back there's probably teachers I'm sorry he can't because there's just one line so here Paul explains it in Romans when I grasped this this was just mind blowing for me Paul says in Romans 3 23 he says all have sinned and fall short right that's where we all are nobody can earn nobody's justified all have sinned and fall short and are justified declare innocent by his grace as a gift but how through the redemption the payment that is in [33:42] Jesus Christ whom God put forward as a propitiation there's another good word what's a propitiation don't get let's just say satisfaction for that he satisfied God's demand by his blood there's his blood redeemed justified and propitiated by his blood to be received by faith that's how we did this is to show God's righteousness because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins in other words why didn't he just kill everybody who were sinners he was patient he passed over it didn't mean he wasn't going to deal with that sin he passed over former sins why it was to show his righteousness at the present time when Jesus came so that he might be just and the justifier the one who has faith in Jesus in other words [34:43] God remains just because he does truly punish sins in Jesus Christ the penalty is upon him his justice is fulfilled and satisfied his holiness is intact and yet because he's the substitute and a righteous one he can then show forgiveness and grace and distribute the righteousness and you know how great Jesus' righteousness is well it's good enough for one or two people it's still given it's still given so that's the second result that's the legal result how we doing is it short yet alright third relationship issue this one's cool the third thing that his death does sorry is it reconciles us it reconciles us to God and by doing that it removes eradicates the hostility that we have with [35:59] God that God has toward us and we have toward him it eradicates that peace and it creates a peace with God this is relation this is about my relationship see the other one was redemption is supernatural it changes me frees me justification is legal it declares me this one's about my relationship before I'm saved I have hostility with God and there is hostility from God toward me because his law condemns me his law condemns me so here's the issue as rebels of God we become hostile for God we are alienated from God we are enemies of God we are separated from God we don't have a relationship with God or at least not we have an alienated relationship yeah God and I we have an agreement we just stay apart from each other we are strangers it's a relationship issue so my relationship with God is disrupted it has a barrier and the barrier is God's law [37:30] God's law has said thou shalt not and I have and so I have rebelled I have broken his law I am in deserving death everyone is so here here's where Luther I love Luther's conversion story because he talks about this very honestly in a time when people didn't talk about these kind of things he was a monk right he wanted to be a holy man he understood that God's law demanded a high integrity and so he couldn't do that in the regular world this is way too much temptation so he went to a monastery with no women to see you know it's just kind of dark rooms and you know should be safe right and he found he still was tempted he still was sinning he discovered that God's law was holy and so it demanded perfection and Luther finally said [38:42] I hated God I hated God his law demands perfection and I can't that's not fair right how can you demand perfection if someone can't do and so he was angry and until he discovered what Jesus did he was separated he discovered peace when he realized wait a minute righteousness wasn't a demand from God righteousness was a gift and so I think we all go through that in our conversion maybe at different points maybe at different stages but when you realize what God really calls us to and we realize [39:43] I can't do that that's gotta stop create a little bit of angst I can't do it but that's necessary that's what the law is supposed to do the law is supposed to kill you it's supposed to break you it's supposed to humble you it's supposed to make you come on your knees to God and say I can't I can't I don't know who can and the ones that say they can't I don't believe them anymore now I'm worse than them but come on who never covents who loves God with all of his heart and all of his soul come come on let's be honest so the impact of Christ's death is he reconciles rebels with himself he makes the law void because [40:46] Jesus has fulfilled the law he's met the law he's satisfied Jesus breaks down the barrier wall and brings us peace Jesus breaks down the wall between God and us so that now a far away alienated stranger and enemy can draw near to a holy God remarkable his death did that too I'm no longer an enemy I'm no longer alienated I'm no longer far off I'm no longer a stranger I've been brought near in fact I've not just been brought near but you know what my relationships changed with God he adopts me know anything about adoption when you know something about adoption that's pretty significant he actually chose me in one he adopted me he made me his own child I'm not the enemy anymore now I'm actually family [41:46] I'm not just in I'm way in wow from enemy hatred to child at peace all that's been removed I'm accepted by him I'm welcome even when I still fall as a Christian and even when I still sin I have the right to come right to him not clean up first I have the right to come right to him as dirty as I can't clean myself I need him to him that's humbling that's good right if we confess our sins he's faithful just to forgive and wash and cleanse he's not just faithful to do that he's just to do that it's right for him to forgive us and cleanse us because [42:56] Jesus already paid the price God's not going to say well my son paid it but I'm going to make you pay too God doesn't do it forgive! free peace so Colossians says speaking of Jesus in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell and through him to reconcile to himself all things whether in earth or in heaven making peace reconciliation makes peace making peace how? [43:25] by the blood of his cross by that blood and you you who once were alienated and hostile in mind doing evil deeds you he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death in order to present you holy and blameless above reproach before wait a minute I'm not holy and blameless and beyond reproach what's he talking about yeah I am I don't feel it I am why because me I'm a new person I'm a new identity what did Jesus' cross do for us one more thing it's a moral thing these others are great we're changed we're transformed through redemption we are legally declared not guilty through justification we're reconciled and at peace with God and our relationship with him through reconciliation and finally we're actually morally responsible changed beings by sanctification this is a moral effect in other words this is where the rubber hits the road because we're changed beings we are changed in how we live in how we walk we're not perfect by any means but we're changed we're transformed so sanctification let me describe it this way it arrests the power of sin and enables us to do good work we who once were dead enslaved trapped could only do what's natural have now that power of sin has been arrested and now we've been enabled to actually do good truly good not just good for us not just good for our energy not just good so they pat me on the back or so that I pat me on the back but good that's good to God that's beautiful like that girl that came with the perfume she did a beautiful good deed to Jesus because she just wanted to love him and anoint him good like that so what's the issue well in our born human nature we're not holy we're natural we're not separate we're common [46:21] I've described holiness as like the good china you have your common everyday dishes that you use everyday right but for those special occasions I don't know if you have it but we have it because it was on sale when we got married so we got a bunch of china and it sits in this closet that we never use and we finally moved to where we could actually put it in a closet and use it we're in a little bit more space so now we use it on special occasions it's the holy place we don't say that but they're special they're set apart just for special things right so that's what sanctification means you become special set apart unique so before that you're normal you're common you're like everybody else outwardly and inwardly so we we cannot make ourselves holy because we start correcting [47:22] I've been teasing Shannon and Mark lately there's a little Charlotte you know she's getting bigger and sassier I wish they were here today because I could tease them some more but she's really refining that sin nature isn't she she's adorable and we laugh and we giggle and you know she's sweet she has that sin nature in her practice just practice little bits come out right we got it we born with it it's right there you don't have to teach children how to disobey it comes natural right it's not learned it's ingrained so we start corrupted we're earthly we're what's natural we're common so we can't make ourselves uncommon we can't make ourselves holy set apart the impact of Christ's death is that's what it does it sanctifies us it sets us apart it makes us holy it makes us saints if you are a believer in Jesus [48:39] Christ and God has changed your heart you are holy see I don't feel holy I am I get it you are you are you're a saint you know Paul called even the Corinthians he called them saints you know that anyway those Corinthians were really messed up they had all kinds of stuff going on they were suing each other some son was sleeping with his mother-in-law I mean come on those aren't saints yeah not because of what they did it was with God that's it God God identified them we have a new nature so his death cleanses and purifies us and enables us to walk holy by the work of the Holy Spirit sanctification is one of these ones that we do feel but we feel it slowly and progressively it's a process we say this I think just about every week in ministry process we don't arrive all at once process we're being sanctified a little bit by a little bit and often it's with stuff I don't want to work on it's stuff [49:50] God wants to work on God please take this temptation away nope you're going to deal with this it's so slow so we're not holy by our works we're made holy by God's work Hebrews 10 says we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all so the body of Christ sanctifies us Christ was suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his blood so both his body and his blood are used to set us apart sanctification arrests sin's power and enables us to do good works allows us to choose to walk by faith alright let's end this what difference does all this make what difference does all this make Christ's death accomplished much more than forgiving as of sin much much I hope you see that today at least a little bit more [50:52] I don't expect that you take it all in because it's a lot of theology it liberates us from the tyranny of sin it satisfies God's law and justice it gives us peace with God and changes us transforms us with new hearts that's the theology of the cross that's what Jesus meant when he said this is my body this is my blood which is poured out for me my response is this as I thought about this how can we not love him more deeply after coming to grips with some of this but if you don't love him more deeply this isn't sinking in but if God has kind of graced you today and you're able to absorb some of this then I think you would agree how can I not love him more wow his death didn't just forgive it it did all I want to praise him [51:55] I want to thank him I want to seek to please him I want to give him everything that's what response comes so do you believe these truths does it humble your heart do you feed him take eat feed him now next time take communion take eat and a little bit more to remember baby draw your life from this preach this gospel to yourself every day because the enemy will tell you the opposite of these things you're not changed you're not innocent you're not right with God and you're not a holy person who are you going to believe let's thank the Lord Father we thank you today for your word [52:55] Lord we know there's a lot here and so we pray that you would break down for each one of us what we need to hear encourage our hearts build up our hearts give us Lord that armor that truth that that counters the lies remind us of these truths Father over may they sink deeply into our hearts and revive! [53:24] Our souls we pray in Christ's name Amen aspire Thank you.
